2012 was a very important year for Sveta admission to the Salisbury Hospital Spinal Clinic. Then passing the UK Citizen Test and successfully applying for her indefinite leave to remain visa. Applying and receiving a grant from the Royal British Legion. Applying for her disability allowance, her driving licence, her free car tax & etcetera.
We had short holiday breaks at Peterborough for the Southern Mobility Show and at Grimsby where we met up with Svetlana Kulakova from Moscow and took her site seeing for a few days. Lincoln Cathedral being the highlight. Then we entertained Sveta,s mother Valentina and her cousin Alya for two weeks. Then a two week tour of the West Country Peninsular where the world wide live broadcast of Shakespears Opera the Tempest in Exeter, the Eden Project at St Austell, Lands End, Weston-Super-Mare, Bristol Cathedral, Gloucester Cathedral and shopping at Milton Keynes for Sveta. For myself the ongoing research of Charles Ley took in Weymouth, Bridport, Bristol Library and Record Centre.
Then returning home to a compete make over of our shower room as a wet-room compliments of New Forest District Council.
